NEW PRE-REQUISITE TO ENTER VOCATIONAL TRAINING OPERATION PROGRAM (I-031-3:2014) WHICH IS TRAINEES NEED TO HAVE A MINIMUM OF MALAYSIAN SKILLS CERTIFICATE (SKM) AT LEVEL 3

Pleased be informed that the Department of Skills Development (DSD) has reviewed the entry requirements to enter the Vocational Training Operational Program (I-031-3: 2014) in Malaysian Skills Certification System (SPKM). Therefore, the Department has set a new pre-requisite for trainees who will undergo this program that must have at least Malaysian Skill Certificate at Level 3 of any field of skills program based on NOSS, effective from 1 January 2019.

This is to ensure that the trainees who will undergo this program have the necessary skills in teaching and learning sessions at the accredited centers that run the Malaysian Skills Certification System.

Thank you.
