Advisory Programme on the Development of Learning Materials and Assessment Documents
Please be informed that the Skills Development Department will organise the Advisory Programme on the Development of Learning Materials and Assessment Documents in each region. The objective of this programme is to provide advice to the personnel of accredited centres relating to the procedures on developing learning materials and skills training questions.

Programme Participant
a. Advisory Programme on the Development of Learning Materials
Applications to participate in the programme is open to all commissioned personnel consisting of Valuation Officers (PP), Internal Verifiers (PPD), Managers of Accredited Centres (PPB) or External Verifiers (PPL) who are recognised by CIAST.
b. Advisory Programme on the Development of Assessment Documents
Applications to participate in the programme is open to all commissioned personnel consisting of Valuation Officers (PP), Internal Verifiers (PPD), Managers of Accredited Centres (PPB), External Verifiers (PPL) or Expert Instructors/ Industry Experts appointed by CIAST who have at least 5 years experience as instructors at skills training institutes.

Data collection for Trainer, Malaysian Skills Certificate ( SKM )
Jabatan telah membangunkan struktur format bagi penyelarasan dan pengumpulan data-data untuk memenuhi keperluan JPK dan agensi-agensi luar.
Oleh itu, diharap semua Pusat Bertauliah dapat menggunakan format tersebut untuk pengisian data yang berikut;
- Tahun 2015 – Data di hantar ke JPK pada setiap suku tahun iaitu Mac, Jun, September dan Disember.
- Tahun 2012, 2013, 2014 – Data perlu di hantar ke JPK sebelum Jun 2015.

INFORMATION ON GST
Please be informed that the Federal Government Gazette on the Order of Goods and Services Tax (Exempt Supply) (Amended) 2015 [P.U. (A) 57] issued on 27 March 2015 has gazetted that the National Skills Development Act 2006 [Act 652] include GST exemption. This Government Gazette comes into force on 30 March 2015.
Attached together is the Federal Government Gazette on the Order of Goods and Services Tax (exempt Supply) (Amended) 2015 for the record.
